Former Missouri Secretary of State, Bekki Cook (left), receives the Spirit of Martha Award from Tracey Mershon, Chair of the Griffiths Leadership Society for Women. Bekki was honored for her distinguished work in her chosen field as well as exemplified the spirit of leadership, particularly in the furtherance of women.
The Griffiths Leadership Society is one of only three mentoring societies in the nation for collegian women on college campuses. Sponsored by the Mizzou Alumni Association, it is a catalyst for global connections among diverse and distinguished MU collegian leaders and alumnae.
